Denver Colorado Regional Dog Training Director - Brendan Cox, CDBADenver dog training, dog trainers denver colorado, boulder, aurora, golden co dog trainer

After a successful career in corporate training and operations management, Brendan said goodbye to the corporate world in order to pursue his passion for dogs and becoming a professional dog trainer.

"My earliest and fondest memories of childhood are of our family dog Bogi, a little hound mix that was full of affection and always ready to play. A companion in every sense of the word, Bogi would always be waiting by the door to greet everyone coming home and never withheld a friendly lick from all who visited. Being the youngest child all my siblings had flown the coop I had much time to myself with little entertainment had it not been for this little dog. Bogi and I spent hours playing together in the back yard and going places like the local Dairy Queen where people would stop and marvel at the site of this little hound politely licking his very own Ice cream cone being careful not to miss a drop. Bogi has been gone now for many years but the lasting memory and the laughter and joy that he brought to our lives still resonates with me and I can’t think of a companionship more rewarding than that of a family dog.

With this back drop of my own experience, I recognize that this type of companionship comes from a foundation of training, communication, structure, and healthy play and exercise. I have a passion to help others to have such an experience with their dogs and to help educate people on how to become "Dog’s Best Friend."

Today, Brendan is Canine Dimensions’ Regional Dog Training Director in Denver, CO. His reputation for training and rehabilitating so-called "difficult" dogs including those with household behavior problems and fear issues, have earned him special recognition among his peers.

He is recognized by both of the nation’s most prestigious dog training associations: The Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Association of Canine Professionals. He is also certified by the American Kennel Club as a CGC evaluator.

"Brendan is not your ordinary dog trainer. He's like an interpreter between you and your dog! Dogs are not all alike, and Brendan knows you can't train them all alike either. If you want an individualized program that trains YOUR dog, call Canine Dimensions!"
