After a successful business career, Michael said goodbye to the corporate world in order to pursue his passion for dogs and becoming a professional dog trainer. He was accepted into the Canine Dimensions certification program where he studied under nationally known trainer and dog behavior expert Phil Guida, helping to rehabilitate homeless dogs at some of New Jersey’s busiest open admission and no-kill animal shelters.
After serving his internship at Canine Dimensions and graduating with high distinction, Michael became a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
Today, Michael is the Regional Training Director for Canine Dimensions of Bergen, Passaic and Sussex counties. His reputation for training and rehabilitating so-called “difficult” dogs including those with household behavior problems and fear issues, have earned him special recognition among his peers. His contagious optimism and positive attitude have earned him a reputation as someone who will never give up on a dog.
