Dmitry graduated the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004. He served as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard the USS Ramage, Patrol Coastal Crew Delta, and the Surface Officer’s School (SWOS). Later on in civilian life, he enjoyed a successful business career eventually becoming Chief Operating Officer of an international manufacturing firm.
As a lifetime dog lover, he decided to pursue a new career as a professional dog trainer. He was accepted into the Canine Dimensions dog trainer certification program and completed his internship working at one of the busiest no-kill animal shelters in the northeast.
After graduation, Dmitry was accepted as a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). He is a Certified Dog Behavior Advisor, and a CGC evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC). He is recommended by veterinarians, rescues and shelters throughout Long Island, where he has earned a well-deserved reputation for successfully training and rehabilitating dogs with serious behavior problems such as fear and aggression, helping to keep dogs safely in their homes and out of overcrowded animal shelters.
