Matt majored in Finance at the Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University. Having grown up in a home where the family business was dog training, it was no surprise when after college, he decided to seek certification as a professional dog trainer through Canine Dimensions. He studied under master trainer and shelter behavior expert Amanda Striker, helping to rehabilitate homeless dogs at some of the northeast’s busiest open admission and no-kill animal shelters.
After completing his internship at Canine Dimensions and graduating with high distinction, Matt was admitted as a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and is now Canine Dimensions’ Regional Training Director serving Florida’s Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. His reputation for training and rehabilitating so-called “difficult” dogs including those with household behavior problems and fear issues, have earned him special recognition among his peers, and a well-deserved reputation as someone who will never give up on a dog.
