Rob graduated from Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army. After five years of service, including one overseas deployment, he began his civilian career on the East Coast before settling in the Pacific Northwest.
Rob’s passion for dogs and natural training ability led him to Canine Dimensions’ certification program, where he studied under master trainer and dog behavior expert Amanda Striker. During his internship, he worked extensively with homeless dogs at one of the region’s busiest animal shelters, helping to train and rehabilitate even the most challenging cases.
After graduating with high distinction, Rob became a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). He now serves as Regional Training Director for Canine Dimensions of Metro Portland, OR and Clark County Washington, where he is recognized for his skill in rehabilitating dogs with fear, aggression, and other serious behavior issues. Known for his persistence and dedication, Rob has earned a reputation as a trainer who never gives up on a dog.
